Northeasterly winds will continue to blow over South India. Thus, light rain will continue to be observed in multiple areas of Tamil Nadu during the next few days. One or two places in Kerala and coastal Andhra Pradesh are likely to see light rains.
Extreme Coastal South region of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu might also receive moderate rainfall at some places.
Otherwise other parts of South India including Telangana, rest parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka will remain mainly dry.
It’s a peak time for South India in terms of tourism. Weather is majorly pleasant in the region. The region sees a lot of influx of tourists from North India at present as the yearly Winter holidays are going on.
Hyderabad
The city will continue to see a comfortable day throughout. Low clouds might appear over the area which might cause some disturbance in aviation during the early morning hours.
Bengaluru
Bengaluru will continue to see pleasant weather. Shallow fog may appear towards morning hours. Low clouds may appear during the night lasting up to morning hours causing some trouble for the aviation sector.
Chennai
Chennai will continue to see comfortable weather conditions with moderate winds. Light rains and thunderstorm may occur during the next 48 hours.
Thiruvananthapuram
A comfortable morning lies ahead for the city. A warm day is likely. There are chances of light rainfall activities.
