Rain in bengaluruBengaluru has been witnessing light Monsoon rains for the past one week, however, heavy showers continues to evade the city.

According to Skymet Weather, these light rains can be attributed to localised development of thunderclouds over the city. Though no significant weather system has been prevailing over the region, presence of Monsoon surge has led to increase in humidity levels leading to rains and thundershowers.

Further, no major changes are likely in the prevailing weather conditions and we expect light rains to continue over the city for the next few days as well. Heavy showers are ruled over the city but these on and off rains will keep the weather pleasant over Bengaluru.

Sky will remain cloudy for the next few days, with maximum temperatures settling around 30°C or 31°Cand night temperatures would be hovering around 21°C or 22°C.

Intensity of rains are likely to pick up pace by August 7 or 8, where in the city could see some light to moderate showers.
