The post Monsoon season started on a low note for Mumbai as it did not receive any rainfall activity for almost a week. However, light to moderate rain and thundershower activities have been occurring over the city of dreams, Mumbai from the past three to four days.

In the span of 24 hours, Colaba Observatory in Mumbai witnessed light rain to the tune of 7 mm and Santa Cruz Observatory observed 6 mm of rain. Now, we expect similar weather condition to continue in the city for another 24 to 48 hours.
Short spells of light to moderate rain may occur in some parts of the city. The intensity of rain will not be much so as to lead to heavy traffic snarls and waterlogging. Despite these scattered rain, the weather is warm but comfortable and similar weather condition will continue for another 24 to 48 hours.
The sky conditions will be partly cloudy and may become cloudy occasionally. As per Weathermen, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Madhya Maharashtra which is likely to weaken and move towards the Arabian Sea.

With the movement of the weather system, dry northerly winds will blow over Mumbai. Hence, after two days the weather will clear up and the mercury levels will also start rising. The day temperatures will settle in mid-30°C leading to sultry and uncomfortable weather.
