During the last 24 hours, the state Telangana and its capital city, Hyderabad could not witness good Monsoon showers. Whereas, other parts of the country have been witnessing light to moderate spells of rain. Thus, warm and mainly dry weather conditions have been prevailing over the state including Hyderabad since a quite long time.
However, in a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Ramagundam merely recorded 1.8 mm of rainfall. Whereas, other districts of Telangana including Hyderabad continued to witness mainly dry weather conditions.
These weather conditions can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation which is seen lying over Northeast parts of Bay of Bengal. Also, this system is likely to shift towards west. A trough is also likely to develop along the East Coast. Due to these weather systems, a short spell of light rains along with partly cloudy sky is anticipated over Northeast parts of Telangana as well as Hyderabad during the next 24 hours.

After 24 hours, these light showers are likely to pick up pace and the intensity is also expected to increase significantly. Henceforth, light to moderate Monsoon showers is possible to occur over the state and its state capital.

Moreover, due to these weather changes, the temperatures will see a downward trend after 24 hours. But till then, the uncomfortable weather is likely to persist over Telangana including Hyderabad. Further, the humidity levels are also likely to increase gradually.
