The city of Nizams, Hyderabad has been witnessing on and off scattered light showers since last few days. Few other areas such asMedakand Nizamabad have also been observing light Monsoon rains. Although, the wait for good Monsoon showers over the city of Nizams is still anticipated. In a meantime, comfortable but humid weather conditions are prevailing over the state.
In fact, in a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, the city recorded 4.1 mm of rainfall, followed byNizamabadat 8.5 mm. These weather conditions can be attributed to a trough which seen running from Bihar up to Andhra Pradesh Coast. Also, this trough is likely to shift slightly towards East.
Due to which, moisture incursion and clouding can be anticipated and henceforth, this development will influence in giving light rains at a few places over Telangana includingHyderabadduring the next two to three days but isolated light Monsoon showers are likely to begin anytime soon.

Therefore, the days will continue to remain comfortable but the humid weather conditions are likely to prevail for the next few days. The maximum temperatures will be around 30°C and 32°C. Also, the evenings and nights are likely to remain pleasant.

As on August 12, the sub divisional rainfall statistics shows that Telangana is rain deficient by 15% and Hyderabad is rain surplus by 4%.
