The state of Maharashtra has been the dried state of the year. Particularly, the city of dreams Mumbai has been continuously experiencing dry winds.
During the last 24 hours too, residents witnessed these arid conditions. They seem to be praying continuously for these conditions to change.
The mother nature might hear their prayers and bring a change to the weather in coming days.
Currently, a Deep Depression is persisting over Southeast parts of Arabian sea. As a result of its presence , an upper air trough is extending along the West coast in lower levels .
As this above system moves West -north westwards away from Indian coast, the high clouds would increase over Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan coast, thereby bringing short spells of light rains along Konkan Coast and South Madhya Maharashtra.
These clouds will persist for next 48 hours leading to light rains and thereby bringing a sigh of relief for the residents.
However, around November 20 to November 22 , due to the fluctuations of moist winds from Arabian sea and because of the remnants of Cyclonic Circulation over Tamil Nadu and Kerala region , the weather of entire Maharashtra will once again become dry.
Thus, residents will once again become a victim of arid conditions.
Talking about Vidarbha and Marathwada, dry northeasterly and easterly air mass will affect these regions thereby making the atmosphere dry over these areas.
However, nights are expected to remain comfortable and pleasant for most parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada.
But, for entire dry weather to get completely ruled out, the residents need to pray a little more.
