Bengaluru weather has been playing hide and seek for quite some time now. So much so that the garden city of India has been observing warm and dry weather for a few days with rains making an appearance over the region thereafter.
While the last few days were dry for the capital city of Karnataka, rains have once again made an appearance over Bengaluru now. In fact, during the last 24 hours as well, some parts of Bengaluru did receive a few good spells of rain.
In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, the Bangalore Airport has received light rainfall of 6 mm. The city also received traces of rainfall during the same time-period.
These weather conditions have been attributed to the presence of a trough which was passing from the Interior Karnataka region to the Tamil Nadu region.
Now, as per weathermen of Skymet Weather, the trough continues to persist. Thus, light Pre Monsoon rains during the late afternoon hours are expected to continue. The possibility of a few moderate spells also cannot be ruled out.
As far as the temperature profile is concerned, there has not been much change and it continues to remain close to the normal levels. Both the maximums and the minimums will not witness a major change unless the city records moderate to heavy rains.
