Since the last many days, weather of Northwest India remained almost dry, warm and humid. Places like Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Delhi NCR did not get any relief from the ongoing dry weather conditions.
In a span of 24 hours from 08:30 am on Sunday, isolated rainfall activities occurred over Delhi, but rest of the places remained almost dry.
At present, Delhi is experiencing very light and patchy rainfall activities of the short duration of around 5 to 10 minutes. This is the reason that weather of almost all parts of Northwest India is witnessing dry and humid weather conditions.
According to Skymet Weather, the Axis of Monsoon trough is extending from Northwest Rajasthan to Northeast India across Delhi. But do to the absence of any significant Weather system, we do not expect any significant Weather activity to commence over Delhi and NCR in the next coming days.
As predicted by the weathermen, we do not expect any relief from the ongoing hot and humid weather conditions. So, we can say that there is no respite until the end of the Monsoon that is till September 30th.
