The city of Bengaluru has remained dry for quite some time now. So much so that the capital city of Karnataka has not witnessed any rainfall activity since November 9. Before that, there were a series of light to moderate rainy spells which had lashed the city. All in all, the month of November so far has not been very good in terms of rains.

However, the last 24 hours were slightly rainy for the region. In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday, traces of rainfall were witnessed in some areas of Bengaluru.

These rainfall activities have been attributed to the presence of a cyclonic circulation which is over Southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining areas. Not only this, a trough is also extending from this system up to Karnataka region.

Thus, during the next 24 hours, many parts of Karnataka both coastal as well as interior areas will witness light to moderate rains. During the same time period, the city of Bengaluru is expected to witness light rainfall activity.

Due to these rainfall activities, weather conditions in Bengaluru and its adjoining areas will also become pleasant. After November 19, dry weather conditions will once again take over in Bengaluru.
