Dry and hot weather conditions are continuing over many parts of Rajasthan and entire Madhya Pradesh for the last many days. On and off induced cyclonic circulations have developed over North Rajasthan but they failed to give any significant weather activity over the state, except for the isolated rain activity on the past day.
Further, also we do not expect any significant weather activity to form over the region. However, there are slight chances of light rain and thunderstorm between October 22 and 24 over East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh.
During this time, we expect a Cyclonic Circulation to form over Rajasthan and a trough will run from this system till western parts of Madhya Pradesh.
The intensity of rains during this time will be light and in isolated pockets. Due to the cloud cover and rains, we expect day temperatures to fall by 2°C-3°C. This would bring some relief from ongoing hot weather conditions, although day will remain warm, but nights will become cool and comfortable.
Now, Kharif crops are ready for harvesting in both the states of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The good news for farmers is that, we do not expect any damage to the standing crops due to these rains.
