These ongoing patchy rains have kept a check on maximum temperatures; as a result weather remained comfortable with warm afternoons. Delhi has been also been recording on and off Monsoon rains, however humidity persisted.

These rains can be attributed to the effect of Western Disturbance as well as the easterly winds that are blowing over the region. These winds have increased the moisture over the area, leading to on and off rains.

As per Skymet Weather, scattered rains are likely over Delhi, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh for the next two days. Thereafter, the axis of monsoon trough is expected to shift northwards.
