During the past 24 hours, the weather condition over both Rajasthan and Gujarat remained dry. Now, a Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. In association to this system, an induced cyclonic circulation lies over Central Pakistan and neighboring North Rajasthan.
Also, an upper air trough extends from the induced cyclonic circulation to Gujarat. All of these manifold weather systems is anticipated to move east-northeastwards, leading to overcast to cloudy sky conditions.

Light rain and brief thundershowers will occur at many places amid the next 24 hours over Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Churu, Sriganganagar, Alwar and Kota.
Thereafter, clouding is most likely to lessen, so day maximums will mount, while night temperatures are expected to drop.

Citing the weather of another major state in West India, an upper air cyclonic circulation is seen over northwest parts of Gujarat and adjoining Southwest Rajasthan. This system is most likely to move east-northeastwards and fade away. As a result, northern parts of Gujarat will settle with light rains during the next 24 hours, leading to drop in maximum temperatures. Cities such as Deesa, Patan, Mehsana, Idar and Sabarkantha will witness light rains.
After the span of 24 hours, night temperatures will fall significantly, whereas day maximums will rise. However, during the same time frame Saurashtra and Kutch region along with southern parts of Gujarat will continue to settle with dry and warm weather with partly cloudy sky conditions.
