Light rains in Satna, Sagar; Bhopal, Ujjain to remain dry

Many parts of Madhya Pradesh have received good rains in the past two to three days. Now, the rain activity has reduced significantly over the state.

As per Skymet Weather, the reason for this weather situation can be attributed to the northward shift of axis of Monsoon trough. Moreover, at present, there is no significant weather system that can give good amounts of rain over the state.

In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Thursday, several parts of Madhya Pradesh just received very light showers. Guna recorded rain to the tune of 4 mm, while Gwalior 1 mm, Sagar 1 mm and Satna recorded a mere 1 mm of rain.
