Since last many days, the entire state of Maharashtra has been observing vigorous to active Monsoon conditions. Coastal parts of Maharashtra have been receiving vastly heavy Monsoon showers. In fact, several districts of Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada region have also been receiving light to moderate rains. However, now the intensity of these good rainfall activities have reduced significantly.

In a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Friday, Bhira recorded moderate rainfall of 65 mm, Akola 9 mm, Amaravati 6 mm, Udgir 3 mm and Mahabaleshwar 1.2 mm.

These weather conditions can be attributed to a trough which is seen running from Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining Marathwada region. Also, an offshore trough which was seen extending from Konkan up to Kerala has now become insignificant.

Due to which, some places in Madhya Maharashtra will witness scattered light rains during the next 24 hours. Moreover, Vidarbha and most parts of Marathwada regions will settle with mainly dry weather conditions during the similar time period.
