The entertainment city of India has been experiencing pre-Monsoon rains since last few days. On and off light rains are appearing over Mumbai comforting the Mumbaikars that the much-awaited Monsoon is just around the corner.
These weather conditions can be attributed to the cyclonic circulation which is marked over west central Arabian Sea. Previously, this circulation was seen over North Arabian Sea. Also, a trough is extending from this system up to Maharashtra Coast.
As per Skymet Weather, warm and sultry weather conditions will conquer over the City of Dreams. However, light rain and thundershowers cannot be ruled out over the region. The sky will remain overcast to partly cloudy. The rainfall activity is anticipated to increase by June 6 onwards over the Maharashtra city and adjoining areas.

As of now, the situation is conducive for the Monsoon current to make an advent over the southern parts of the West Coast. In the meantime, pre-Monsoon showers are likely to gear up along the coastline.

When Monsoon will hit the Maharashtra city, it will surely bring that sign of relief that the residents eagerly waiting for. During the month of June, the monthly average rainfall for Mumbai stands at 523.1 mm.
