Both the states of Gujarat as well as Rajasthan have not witnessed any good rains for the last few days. Moreover, due to these weather conditions temperatures have also been settling above the normal levels resulting in warm weather conditions over most parts of these states.
The last 24 hours were also not different wherein entire Rajasthan remained dry with most parts of Gujarat witnessing similar weather conditions. However, southern parts of the state did see some rainfall activity.

In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Valsad recorded moderate rains to the tune of 21 mm. Good rains were also seen over Surat however they were slightly less than Valsad with the city receiving 16 mm of rainfall.

Now, during the next 24 hours also, similar weather conditions are expected to be observed over both Gujarat and Rajasthan. Most parts of the state will witness dry weather conditions. However, southern parts of Gujarat and eastern regions in Rajasthan will witness light rains in some parts.
Thus, cities including Surat, Valsad, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Jaipur, Tonk as well as Jhalawar are expected to witness light rains. Some regions will only witness isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, Ahmedabad in Gujarat will continue to witness dry weather conditions and temperatures will remain slightly uncomfortable for the region.
