As of now, dry weather conditions have been dominant over entire Maharashtra. So much so that the day temperatures have been settling significantly above the normal levels over Vidarbha and marginally over rest of the state.

In fact, Vidarbha and Marathwada regions have been witnessing very warm and sunny days as the maximum temperatures have been reaching up to mid-30s.
Weathermen do not expect any rain activity for at least the next three to four days. In fact, the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy to cloudy due to the prevalence of medium to high clouds. With this, the day maximums may drop marginally, but minimum temperatures will continue to settle above the normal by two to three degrees over most places.
Further, we expect scattered showers to begin over Vidarbha and Marathwada regions of Maharashtra around February 11. These showers are anticipated to persist until February 12. The intensity of these rains will remain light and occur in pockets. During this period, thunderstorm may also happen.

As per Skymet Weather, a confluence zone is expected to develop over Vidarbha. The humid southeasterly winds from Bay of Bengal and moist southwesterly winds from Arabian Sea will merge over the region, leading to the formation of clouds. Thus, light rain and thunderstorm are expected to occur over the region.
Maximum temperatures will drop by two to three degrees; however, we do not expect much change in the minimum temperatures.
