Dry and pleasant weather conditions during the day time, followed by cool and cold nights are prevailing over most places of the central states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh along with the eastern state of Jharkhand.
However, during the next 24 hours, an upper trough is expected to develop and extend from Southeast Uttar Pradesh to Vidarbha region across eastern parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Simultaneously, a Western Disturbance would also be approaching over the higher latitudes of Tibet region. In fact, the anti-cyclone is likely to shift over to coastal parts of Odisha in the lower levels.
In wake of all these weather conditions, most winds are expected to effect pockets of Northeast Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Jharkhand and North Chhattisgarh. Moreover, clouding will also be increasing over these areas.
In fact, light rainfall activity is expected over isolated places in all these states. Places such as Siddhi, Rewa, Satna, Shahdol, Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh and Daltonganj, Garwa, Penda, Mahendragarh will witness spell of light rain. However, these rains will be very light and only for short duration only.
In association with these, the day temperatures will decrease by 2˚C to 3˚C and night temperatures will further increase by 2˚C to 3˚C. Thereafter, night temperatures will once again start declining.
