The state of Rajasthan remained more or less dry since the beginning of the month of August. On few occasions do the parts of the state witnessed rainy spells in particular southeast districts.

In wake of a low pressure area over North Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining areas, light to moderate rains were observed over southern districts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the remaining parts of the state witnessed dry weather conditions.

As humid winds are reaching up to central parts of the country, therefore weathermen at Skymet Weather expect scattered rains to continue over southern and central districts such as Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer. On the other hand, western parts of the state like Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu and Jaisalmer will remain almost dry.
