Pre Monsoon activities were patchy in nature and only Nizamabad recorded 0.5 mm of rains in the last 24 hours. In fact, even after these patchy rains, temperatures are still very high over the state of Telangana touching 40°C mark at most places.
As per Skymet Weather, rains are expected to increase over Telangana including Hyderabad now. Few moderate spells with one or two isolated heavy spells are possible over Telangana.
A cyclonic circulation is developing over West-Central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh Coast. The system is likely to move gradually in a westerly direction towards Telangana. Thus, the intensity of rains would increase over the state.
In fact, in the next 48 hours, we expect Monsoon to make an onset over some parts of Telangana. With Monsoon making an onset and the weather system developing near the state, rains would pick up the pace once again. In wake of these showers, the high soaring temperatures touching 40°C mark are expected to subside. During the Monsoon season, Hyderabad is one of the most pleasant cities. Thus, pleasant days are in offing for the Hyderabadis.
