Since last few days, a cyclonic circulation is persisting over Gujarat, due to this cyclonic circulation, many districts of Gujarat have been receiving light to moderate rains since the past three to four days. However, intensity of these rains has not been heavy, but the weather has also not gone dry as well.
In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Monday, Surendranagar and Mahuva recorded 7 mm of rain, followed by Kandla 6 mm, Surat 4 mm, Amreli 2 mm and Ahmedabad 0.5 mm.
Due to these on and of rains and cloud cover, the weather conditions are comfortable over many districts of Gujarat.
Now we expect the cyclonic circulation to persist for the next 48 hours at 3.1 km above sea level, thus we can say that light rainfall activity with isolated moderate showers will continue for the next 24 to 48 hours.
Meanwhile, the weather conditions in Kutch will be dry. After 24 to 48 hours, there will be significant decrease in rain activity over the state. But these ongoing rains are good for soil moisture and crops, as they are profiting the farmers in Gujarat.
