At present, Delhi is almost on the verge of bidding farewell to winters. The current temperatures float around normal and the minimums are 2 degree Celsius above normal. But the Western Disturbance over Northern Pakistan will make the weather pleasant in Delhi over the weekend.
In the next two days, the maximum and minimum temperatures will rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius. The sudden rise is due to the cyclonic circulation over Punjab and Haryana. Due to this circulation, warm winds will begin to flow towards eastern direction and lead to an increase in temperature over Delhi-NCR.
Towards the end of this week, another Western Disturbance will appear over Northern Pakistan and Jammu and Kashmir and will result in an induced cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan. This will create scattered rain and thunderstorm over the Rajasthan and adjoining areas. And by February 20 or 21, Delhi will get the same scattered rain and thunderstorm.
In wake of this weather activity, minimum temperatures are likely to fall leading to pleasant weather over the weekend.
