The city of Bengaluru has been seeing light rainfall activity for the past couple of days. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Bengaluru saw 3 mm of rains. Now also, the city is expected to continue seeing some light rainfall activity.
These rainfall activities are attributed to the depression over be of Bengal which had reduced to a well marked low pressure area for the more becoming a low-pressure area. Now the system is a mere cyclonic circulation and is moving westwards across the southern Peninsular region.
Thus, the southern parts of South Interior Karnataka including Mysore, Mandya, Chamrajnagar and Bengaluru have seen light rainfall activities. These light rains over Bengaluru as well as adjoining areas may be seen today and tomorrow, as the remnant of the system is moving across the region. By November 26, these rains will cease as the system will move farther away.
