The city of Bengaluru has been receiving good rainfall activity for the past few days. So much so that there have been continuous rains recorded over the capital city of Karnataka since four days now. In these four days Bengaluru has already recorded 16 mm of rainfall which is just about 2 mm short of its monthly rainfall and the city will soon record the rest of the rain fall to complete the monthly average.
Now also the city of Bengaluru is expected to see light to isolated moderate rainfall to continue over for the next three days or so. These rainfall activity will only be seen during the late evening or night hours.
Usually for the city of Bengaluru, the month of March is considered to be a lean period and not a lot of rainfall is witnessed during this time. The three digit rainfall saga is only seen over Bangalore starting me until the month of September. During this time it is only some light activities that are seen for the city.
These ongoing and upcoming rainfall activities are attributed to the pre-monsoon oscillating trough over the Southern Peninsula along with this there are feeble circulation over both are Arabian Sea as well as be of Bengal which are giving this particular trough a push for enhancement of rains over Bangalore.
