Thereafter, the weather is expected to become dry but isolated light rains cannot be ruled out with partly cloudy to cloudy sky over the digital city.

This is on account of the Monsoon surge which is not very active over South Interior Karnataka, while at the same time; north Interior as well coastal parts of Karnataka will see good rainfall activity.

Temperatures will also remain near the normal level in spite of little spells. The cloud cover will also keep the hot weather far away from the city.

The normal average rainfall of Bengaluru for the month of June stands at 106.5 mm. The Karnataka city till date has already recorded 11.5 mm of rainfall.

Usually, heavy rains occur whenever a wind discontinuity or a trough develops over Interior Karnataka. Due to this, humid winds from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea reach the city of Bengaluru giving good rains. Otherwise, the city does not get heavy rains unlike Mumbai that records whopping rainfall during the Southwest Monsoon season.
