Dry weather conditions have been prevailing in most places of Gujarat as well as Rajasthan. So much so, that no significant Monsoon rainfall activity was recorded in both the regions.
Now, a cyclonic circulation is marked over southeastern parts of Rajasthan. Thus, with this weather feature, we can expect scattered light showers to occur over the few parts of the state along with Gujarat region.

Places such as Mount Abu, Udaipur, Kota in Rajasthan, while Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Surat in Gujarat may receive one or two short spells during the next 24 hours.
Thereafter, the weather over most parts of Gujarat as well as Rajasthan will become dry and we do not expect significant rain activity over both the regions for at least next 4 to 5 days.

Temperatures are likely to settle in lower 30s over most parts of Gujarat, however northern and western parts of Rajasthan will witness temperatures in mid 30s. The weather of West Rajasthan will not be very uncomfortable due to flow of westerly winds and reduce in humidity levels.
As on September 3, West Rajasthan is rain surplus by 54%, Gujarat region by 20% and Saurashtra and Kutch by 50%, while East Rajasthan is rain deficit by 2%.
