Mumbai rains have been playing several kinds of games for the past few days. The first week of October, right after the end of the four-month long Monsoon season, the city of dreams remained dry with rainfall activity remaining way far away from the capital city of Maharashtra.

However, for the past few days, the city of Mumbai has been recording rains of varied intensity. While there have been days when Mumbai recorded light rains only, there have been a few instances of moderate rainfall as well. The last 24 hours have also been not too different with the city recording light rains.

These light showers are a result of a trough which has been extending from the west-central Arabian Sea up to South Gujarat. Due to this, moisture incursion has been taking place over Mumbai resulting in light rains over the area.

As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, light rains are expected to continue over the city of Mumbai during the next 24 to 48 hours. Temperatures will remain in the comfortable range only during both the morning as well as night hours.
