Mumbai rains have been on the lower side for the last few days. In fact, the last 24 hours have been on the lighter side.
In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Colaba saw light rains of 4 mm of rains, while Santa Cruz recorded 4 mm of rains.
In the morning today, parts of the suburbs saw some intense spells of rains for a short period but after that, rains came to a stop and there has not been any rainfall since then.
Now also, short intense spells of rains are expected in the city of Mumbai suburbs during the next 24 hours. Thereafter, weather will become almost dry with just isolated light rains in some pockets.
Temperatures will also witness a marginal rise with the weather likely to become sultry once again as there is no significant weather system in proximity of Mumbai. A Cyclonic Circulation is over Saurashtra region, but its impact will be negligible over Mumbai and its suburbs.
Thus, much rains are not likely over the city of Mumbai for at least the next three to four days and Monsoon will remain subdued over the maximum city.
