Northeast India has been receiving good pre-Monsoon rains. Multiple weather systems are responsible for bringing rain over the region. The cyclonic circulation over Assam and another over sub-Himalayan West Bengal are enhancing rainfall activity over all the northeastern states.
The cyclonic circulation over northeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas is also driving moisture laden winds from the sea up to Northeast India. All these weather system will bring rain over entire Northeast for next 48 to 72 hours. Few places could receive very heavy showers as well.
