The western parts of Rajasthan have not really seen rain for long. In fact, rainfall has ceased for cities like Barmer, Jaisalmer, Phalodi, Jodhpur etc. Moreover, Southwest Monsoon has begun its withdrawal process from western regions of Rajasthan.
On the other hand, the eastern part of the state is seeing sporadic rains, In fact, rains were seen even during the last 24 hours, wherein Ajmer saw 37 mm of rain, Udaipur 5 mm, Jaipur 4 mm and traces of rain in Churu.
This is the last Monsoon spell for East Rajasthan after which Monsoon will start to withdraw from the region. We can expect some rains today over the eastern parts, which will further reduce tomorrow. Thereafter, rains will cease from the eastern parts as well.
Cities of Kota, Boondi, Kota, Baran, Sawai, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Banaswara, Tonk, Jhalwar, Udaipur, Dungarpur may see light rains today. Tomorrow, rain will shrink further to the southeast parts remaining confined to Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, and Banaswara.
