Today, its effect will be seen over southern and coastal parts of Gujarat along with Konkan region including Thane, Mumbai, Dahanu, Alibag, Surat, Vapi.

Tomorrow onward, the system is expected to weaken further, and its circulation will retrack and gradually come over Central Arabian in the next two to three days. Thus, its effect will be limited. However, as easterlies will continue to blow along the coast.

Thus, the proximity of this system and retracking of it into the central parts of Arabian Sea will keep the wind flow as easterlies. Therefore, very light rains may be seen over Gujarat and Konkan.

As the system moves into the sea, it will get better marked. The system will in the next four to five days, gradually shift to the northwestern parts of Arabian Sea. Thus, during that time, Karachi, coastal parts of Pakistan may see rains. In fact, even Gujarat may come under the radar and some rains may occur.
