The state of Gujarat will see a reduction in rains as soon as the month ends in view of the commencement of withdrawal from Rajasthan and soon Gujarat as well.
The Monsoon withdrawal from the state is delayed as it usually begins from Kutch by September 25th, by the 30th in most parts of the state barring South Gujarat and gets completed by October 5.
However, until the end of the month, some rains are likely over parts of Gujarat. Today, light rains are expected over South and central parts of Gujarat and even the cities of Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Anand will see rains. Tomorrow, rains will be confined to coastal parts of Saurashtra and South Gujarat. Rains will be light over the southern parts of the state and Coastal Parts of Saurashtra, Veraval, Mahuva, Vapi, Surat, Bharuchand Valsad may see some rains.
Rains will start vacating September 30th onward and that may be the end of the Monsoon rains for Gujarat. After the Monsoon retreat, Gujarat starts to heat up and the second summer begins. Moreover, maximums even reach 40 degrees at times. But this happens over a period of time by the second week of October.
