These weather conditions can be attributed to the presence of the off shore trough which has been running from Gujarat up to Kerala coast. Not only this, a low-pressure area is over Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Vidarbha. Due to this rainfall activity has been enhanced all along the West Coast particularly over the Konkan and Goa region.

As per weather experts at Skymet Weather, moderate to heavy monsoon rains are expected to continue over entire West Coast.

Rain intensity will be higher over Konkan and Goa region as well as coastal Karnataka. Kerala will receive slightly lesser rains as compared to these regions.
