Kolkata rains to pick up pace soon

The Joyous City of West Bengal, Kolkata has been recording rainy spells since past couple of days. In fact, somewhat similar weather conditions prevailed over the city in the last 24 hours as well.

Southwest Monsoon has ended on a good note for the state of West Bengal and Kolkata. However, until date, the city has not witnessed a complete dry weather situation and widespread rains continued.

As per Skymet Weather, rain and thundershowers are likely to pick up pace over the region in another two to three days. During this time period, the maximum city is likely to experience moderate showers with isolated heavy spells. Gusty winds are also likely to affect during these spells.

Therefore, we can say that rain gods are all set to show kindness over the city by giving some good rains. Weathermen, even expect thunderclouds to develop anytime soon that may end up giving rains over the region.

These rains are likely to occur over the region during afternoon as well as evening hours. Days will become comfortable due to cloudy sky and drop in temperatures with a few notches. Maximums are likely to settle close to 30-31 degrees, whereas minimums will range near 25-26 degrees, leading to pleasant nights.
