Other districts of the state failed to witness any rainfall activity. As per weathermen at Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation persists over Sri Lanka and is extending up to mid-tropospheric level. Another cyclonic circulation is marked over Kerala Coast off the southeast Arabian Sea.

A trough is also extending across these weather systems. It is anticipated that the rainfall activity is likely to intensify over the southern parts of the state and will gradually increase over the remaining parts. During the next 24 hours moderate with one or two heavy spells are expected over the southern districts of the state.

Whereas, the northern parts will witness light to moderate spells. During the last 24 hours, a significant reduction in rainfall activity was witnessed, with this, the temperatures have increased over the state. However, as the rains are making a comeback from October 31, hence mercury levels will reduce once again. The weather conditions will make a U-turn, leading to comfortable and breezy weather across the state.
