South India continues to receive pre-monsoon showers. Wind discontinuity over interior parts, closer to Tamil Nadu, is giving rain over southern parts of the Peninsula.
The Inter Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) running from Indonesia to southeast Arabian Sea, across the southern tip of India, could also be attributed to light and scattered rain in the region. Rain will continue here at least for next 24 hours.
