Karaikal, Pamban, Tondi in Tamil Nadu to get heavy rains

November 26, 2017 12:35 PM | Skymet Weather Team

Amid the last 24 hours, mainly light rains were seen over few districts of Tamil Nadu with a couple of moderate spells.

These rains could be attributed to the low pressure area which was over Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Indian Ocean off Sri Lanka Coast. This system has moved slightly west-northwestward nearer to the landmass. Further, we can expect it to keep moving in westerly direction.
