During the last 24 hours, several places in Pakistan have been witnessing light rains with a few moderate spells of rain. Thus, few places such as Karachi, Hyderabad, Nizamabad, Masroor, Barkhan, Chhor and Landhi have recorded good Monsoon showers. However, the weather over these regions has remained warm and humid since last few days.
In a span of last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Landhi 37 mm, Gulshan e Hadeed 32 mm, Nizamabad 31 mm, Faizal Base 29 mm, Masroor 26 mm, Barkhan 19 mm and Karachi and Saidpur 12 mm, Sukrand 11 mm, Hyderabad 8 mm, Chaklala and Chhor 4 mm, Mithi 2 mm and Golra and Samsabad 1 mm.
These weather conditions can be attributed to a fresh Western Disturbance which has formed over Central Pakistan in the lower levels. Also, this system is likely to move towards east direction. A trough is also seen extending from North Arabian Sea up to Gujarat Coast.

Due to these weather systems, scattered light rain and thundershowers are expected over Karachi, Hyderabad, Kalat, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Makran divisions and Islamabad.
Moreover, no major changes in the weather activities are expected over the region for the next 24 hours. Although, a few parts of Sindh and Northeast parts of Pakistan will continue to witness scattered light Monsoon showers for a short duration of time.

Furthermore, mainly dry and warm weather conditions are expected to continue over Karachi and adjoining areas in the coming few days. Though scattered light Monsoon showers at isolated places cannot be ruled out over these regions.
