Despite having a slow start, Southwest Monsoon covered most parts of India and is expected to cover the entire country before its usual time. Delhi and the NCR region are yet to witness Monsoon showers so do most areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
It’s about 5:30 pm in the evening and a prominent patch of thunderclouds can be seen over a few areas in India. Thunderclouds are hovering over Kota in Rajasthan, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh and Nagpur in Maharashtra.
Lightning strikes are also a possibility over all these areas. These thunderclouds are persisting with a trough that is running from northwest to southeast direction. Isolated places in Punjab & Haryana including Jalandhar and Yamuna Nagar may also witness rain and thundershowers.
