The city of Jaipur is expected to see some rain and thundershower activities along with dust storm activities today. From tomorrow, weather in Jaipur will become dry. These activities will take place during the late afternoon and evening hours which is a typical Pre Monsoon feature.
Due to these weather conditions, there are chances that temperatures may see some kind of drop, however, significant drop is not foreseen.
The last 24 hours also saw some rains making an appearance over Jaipur to the tune of 6 mm. So far, Jaipur has not seen heavy showers and since May 13 only light rains and times traces of rainfall have been seen over the city.
After 24 hours, the weather will become dry and temperatures will increase resulting in increase in the heat factor over Jaipur. Throughout the rest of May, no weather activity is likely as weather systems up north will take a break for some time.
Jaipur has been witnessing on and off rain and dust storm along with thunderstorm activities since May 13. There has been a gap of a couple of days in between, but some activities have been continuous over the city.
These rains and thundershowers can be attributed to the back to back Western Disturbances over the Western Himalayan region which have also induced Cyclonic Circulations over parts of Rajasthan resulting in some rains and thundershowers over the capital city of Rajasthan.
