The state of Rajasthan has been witnessing reduced rainfall activity in the past few days. However, there has been some increase in the Monsoon rains during the last 24 hours due to the cyclonic circulation prevailing over the Rajasthan region.
In fact, in a span of 24 hours from 8:30 am on Wednesday, Churu witnessed a good 20 mm of rainfall followed by 18 mm of rain in Sikar. Light rains were also recorded in cities of Jaipur, Bhilwara, Bundi, and Pilani as well.

The well-marked low-pressure area over Central Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. This system is likely to intensify into a depression during the next 24 hours. The well-marked low will move in a southwestward direction towards Rajasthan region.
Moderate rain is likely over cities of Ajmer,Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bhilwara,Bundi, Chittaurgarh, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jalor, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Karauli, Kota,Pali, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur during next 18 hours.
With this, light to moderate rains with isolated heavy showers are expected to continue over the southeastern parts of Rajasthan during the next 24 hours.
However, these rains are expected to intensify thereafter and moderate with isolated heavy showers may occur over these areas on July 14 and 15.

Other parts of Rajasthan will also witness some rainfall activity under the influence of the prevailing weather system. However, extreme parts of West Rajasthan will continue to witness dry weather conditions.
Thus, cities of Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Ajmer and other areas will witness some rains in the next 24 hours or so. With this, the temperatures will witness a drop paving way for pleasant weather over the state.
