The state of Rajasthan has witnessed various shades of weather during the past few days. While some parts have been receiving light rainfall along with dust storm activity, hot weather has gripped other parts of the state. However, heatwave conditions have abated from almost the entire state.
The last 24 hours have been slightly rainy for some areas of Rajasthan. In fact, during the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Ajmer recorded 10 mm of rain, Churu 8 mm, and traces of rains were witnessed over the capital city of the state, Jaipur.

These weather conditions are attributed to the presence of an induced cyclonic circulation which is present over Central Pakistan and adjoining areas of Rajasthan. The circulation has been induced from the Western Disturbance which is over the Western Himalayan region.

At present, thunderclouds have developed over the city of Jaipur and its adjoining areas. In fact, a few areas close to Jaipur are also expected to witness some rain along with thunderstorm activity.
Not only this, during the next 2 to 3 days, Southeast Rajasthan along with central parts of Rajasthan are likely to witness some rainfall activity. Thereafter, dry weather will take over.
