What can only be described as one of the bizarrest stories about the unrelenting hot summer and heatwave of India, roads in Silvassa melted! Yes, you read that right, a road near Shaheed Chowk in Silvassa is melting and is making the lives of daily commuters tough.

The caveat is that the temperatures in the regions are not even crossing 35 degree Celsius mark. But the high levels of humidity of around and no major weather activity must have aided to make such condition work.
Silvassa sits in the union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli which is located south of Gujarat and north of Maharashtra. The entire region is adjacent to the Arabian Sea on the west.
