The states of Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal have remained dry for a long time. In fact, the month of October has been a disappointing one for the state.

In fact, the state of Jharkhand is observing a rainfall deficiency of a whopping 69 percent while Bihar is even worse at 73 percent. Gangetic West Bengal is also largely deficient with a whopping 48 percent.

A Cyclonic Circulation is over West Central Bay of Bengal which is expected to become a low pressure area. Along with this, a trough is also running along the East Coast. Due to the presence of both these systems, warm and moist winds are blowing over the interior parts. Due to this, clouding will increase over Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Due to this, day temperatures are expected to decrease marginally while minimums are expected to see a marginal rise.

Not only this, light showers are also expected over isolated pockets of the states of Bihar, Jharkhand as well as West Bengal. However, these rainfall activities will not be enough to bring down the rainfall deficiencies that are persisting over these areas.
