Isolated rain in Bengaluru, weather to remain pleasant

After a prolonged break the IT City of India, Bengaluru saw moderate showers to the tune of 32 mm on Tuesday.

Prior to this rainy episode, the city recorded rains to the tune of 12 mm on June 23. Then on, more or less the weather remained dry over the area.

At present also, there is no major weather system over the Karnataka capital which could bring in some good showers.

As per weatherman at Skymet Weather, with the presence of a cyclonic circulation in mid-levels over North Kerala and adjoining, we can expect isolated rain and thundershowers over the city during the next 24 hours.

The intensity of showers is not anticipated to increase any soon and heavy rains are ruled out from the city for now. Nevertheless the sky would remain partly cloudy to cloudy.

In view of the rains and sky condition, days will be comfortable with maximums settling around 26°C to 27°C. Similarly, nights would be cool with minimums ranging around 20°C.

So, in spite of intermittent light showers, the weather would remain pleasant and uneasiness is not to be expected.

The normal rainfall of Bengaluru for the month of July stands at 112.9 mm and till July 10, the city has recorded 36.2 mm.
