During the last 24 hours, light to very light spells of rain were witnessed over parts of Maharashtra such as Buldhana, Aurangabad, Ahmednagar, Kolhapur and Matheran.
Further, the weathermen at Skymet Weather are of the view that scattered rain and thundershowers are possible over Konkan and Goa and adjoining parts of Madhya Maharashtra; however these rains will remain confined to central and southern districts of the mentioned regions.

These rains can be attributed to a cyclonic circulation that can be marked over North Coastal Karnataka.
Besides this, northerly winds have been blowing over the northern chunk of Maharashtra since the last two to three days. As these winds are cold in nature, both maximum and minimum temperatures have dropped by a few notches.

However, the wind pattern has changed again in the last 24 hours and now they have started blowing from east-northeast direction. Due to this, both maximum as well as minimums have witnessed a marginal increase.
For the next 24 hours, the city of dreams, Mumbai will record light to very light rains over isolated places of the area along with partly cloudy sky conditions. The weather will remain mostly dry over the region.
Similar weather condition will be seen over the cities of Nashik and Pune. Isolated light to very light rains will occur and the sky would be partly cloudy. Morning and nights will remain comfortable with slightly humid days over the aforementioned cities.
