Central and north Gujarat, south Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh will continue to receive rain during the next two days. Intensity of rain will increase in south Rajasthan as the low pressure area that persists over Gujarat will move closer to it during the next 24 hours. West Madhya Pradesh especially the areas close to south Rajasthan will have light to moderate rain.
Moist Southwesterly winds will continue to reach to northwest plains over Haryana adjoining areas of Delhi and west Uttar Pradesh and increase the possibility of rain or thunder developments in the next two days.
A western Disturbance as a trough (region of intensified moist winds) is expected to affect the hills of northwest India due to which scattered rain may occur over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Intensity of rain is expected to increase over east and northeast India during the next two to three days. East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will witness increase in rain. Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal will also receive rain at a few places.
A trough is expected to shape up from the foothills of east Uttar Pradesh to Arunachal Pradesh. The another trough from sub-Himalayan West Bengal to Bay of Bengal will bring moisture to the first trough.
South India will have subdued rain during the next two days as there is no significant weather system in the region. Southwesterly winds may bring some rain over interior south Karnataka, coastal Andhra Pradesh and north Tamil Nadu.
West coast will have rain mainly over Konkan coast as a feeble offshore trough is extending near it in the Arabian Sea. Kerala and Karnataka coast will have light scattered rain. Temperatures in south India will rise during the next two days.
