The city of Indore is gearing up for some fresh weather activities. The last time, the city received good rains was on August 13 and 14. Since then, the rains were mainly moderate. Moreover, the weather went dry for the last four days over the city and any major weather activity was absent.
At present, a Cyclonic Circulation is over Southwest Uttar Pradesh and adjoining North-central Madhya Pradesh. This system will further move in westerly direction. Moreover, a Low-Pressure Area is also set to affect the region soon.
Therefore, we expect rains to commence over Indore once again. Rain activities will affect the city by today evening or night. The weather is cloudy over the city already. For the next two days, we expect good rains over Indore and adjoining area.
Isolated heavy spells may also occur over Indore and adjoining parts of Southwest Madhya Pradesh. Although, any extremely heavy rains are ruled out. So, there will be no flooding or waterlogging.
Weather is set to become pleasant hereafter. A relief will set in from the dry weather which was prevailing over the city since last four to five days. These on and off rains may continue for the next two to three days.
Weather will once again go dry after August 26. However isolated localized activities cannot be ruled out.
As a matter of fact, the city of Indore has not received much rains in comparison to other districts like Khandwa, Betul, and Hoshangabad which have received good rains. In fact, Ujjain and Ratlam have also received very good rains. Now, finally, rains are here to affect Indore as well.
