One of the noted medical journals, Lancet states that indoor air pollution is also connected to more than 1.24 lakh deaths in the country in the year 2015. In fact, as per the findings, this count is way higher in contrast with the deaths caused by contamination radiating from coal control plants (representing 80,368 fatalities) and other industries (95,800 mortalities).

Fine pollutants measuring 2.5 microns or less are discharged in all the three cases.

The report released by Lancet on Tuesday highlights on the major impacts of climate change on people. As the entire world is gearing up for the following round of climate negotiations at Bonn in Germany, beginning November 6, this report will be an important matter of discussion in the meet.

The various factors of discussion ranged from temperature-related sicknesses to frequent climatic disasters and deteriorating air quality.

Indoor air contamination alone causes 4.3 million preterm deaths connected to pneumonia, stroke, lung tumor, coronary illness and incessant obstructive aspiratory malady consistently. In the rural parts of the country also, the household pollution primarily is caused by the utilization of polluting fuel sources, for example, wood, charcoal and creature waste.

Close to 800 million individuals, mainly women are often exposed to the high levels of toxin formed due to these domestic household chores.

Moreover, the World Meteorological Organization's Greenhouse Gas Bulletin has also expressed that carbon dioxide – the essential ozone-harming substance – achieved its most elevated ever levels in 8,000 centuries a year ago.
