The departing Western disturbance and fading cyclonic circulation will mark the end of the recent precipitation. Snowfall over the Western Himalayas will also cease, paving the way for dry and cold winds to sweep down from the mountains. These winds are expected to bring a significant drop in minimum temperatures across North West India.
While the days may become comfortably cooler due to the absence of rain and clouds, dense fog conditions are likely to return over parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh during the next 48 hours.
